Steal Your Peach Band – Grateful Dead/Allman Brothers Tribute

April 21 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

The Steal Your Peach Band (SYPB) is a six piece group that explores and celebrates the music of both The Grateful Dead and The Allman Brothers Band. By assembling the same line up of both legendary groups (2 guitarists, 2 drummers, bass and keyboards), SYPB effortlessly interweaves the grooves and jams of both iconic bands creating a unique musical experience.

The Steal Your Peach Band is an all star collective comprised of seasoned, like minded professional musicians. The SYPB lineup includes members of The Rev Tor Band, Arlo Guthrie & Xavier, The Last Waltz Live, Uncle Sammy and The Stone Revival Band. Members of SYPB have shared the stage with Willie Nelson, Pete Seeger, Arlo Guthrie, Little Feat The Jerry Garcia Band as well as members of The Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers Band, Phish and MOE.

SYPB is dedicated to presenting the music of The Grateful Dead and Allman Brothers Band with genuine respect to the original while not being afraid to interject a little bit of their own in to the mix. This is the free spirited approach the music demands and allows them the freedom to perform a unique and new set list at every show.

The audience will also enjoy the opening band, rice.  The Pioneer Valley-based  band, rice, is steeped in Americana and is not afraid to wander into jam and rock explorations. A fluid outfit fronted vocally by Courtney Parker and Phil Simon, who is also on rhythm guitar- they are joined by Steve Benson on bass, mandolin and pedal steel, and other gun slingers on axes including  Brian DiMartino on lead guitar and Michael Wood on drums
