1. Enjoy the 4th Annual Downtown Springfield Farmers Market at it’s New Location, Court Square / May 17 Kick-Off
Fridays are going to be crazy fresh all spring and summer long in downtown. Check out the Downtown Springfield Farmers Market at its New Location – Court Square. Opening day is Friday, May 17th 11 am – 3 pm and will run every Friday through September. This year there are over 20 local vendors! Enjoy an assortment of herbs, plants, hanging baskets, flowers, pork, chicken, beef, eggs, juices, ginger shots, bread, pies, shaved ice cream, gourmet chocolates,

2. World’s Largest Pancake Breakfast / May 11
The World’s Largest Pancake Breakfast is a great way to meet neighbors and friends as the community sits down at Springfield’s breakfast table in celebration of the city’s May 14, 1636 founding. The menu includes hot, hearty pancakes, coffee, juice and milk, and lots of local talent. Don’t miss it this Saturday, May 11th, from 8 am – 11 am on Main Street!
3. What’s on Tap Wednesday – Downtown’s Newest Rotating Beer Garden / June 5 Kick-Off
The people who brought you White Lion Wednesday’s are back at it again this summer with a new outdoor beer garden. What’s on Tap Wednesday kicks-off June 5th at 1350 Main Street. You won’t have to travel very far this summer to enjoy your favorite regional beers. To name a few, get ready as we host Vanished Valley, Amherst Brewing, Backeast Brewing, Progression Brewing, Wormtown, Harpoon, Two Weeks Notice, White Lion Brewing Company, and many many more. 4. MGM Live / Kick-Off May 11th
Summers rock with MGM LIVE! New outdoor concert series kicks-off in May on The Plaza at MGM Springfield. Let down your hair (or tease it out), and come dance the night away with us, your friends and your favorite band. Rock on dude! Ticketed events include Dokken, Collective Soul, Gin Blossoms, Hanson, Matt and Kim and many more.

5. Maifest Block Party on Fort Street / May 17
Maifest puts the spring in Springfield with a Block Party to benefit Rays of Hope! Join the Student Prince outside on Fort Street as music fills the air with performances by Berkshire Mountain Wanderers, Right On Band, Kyle Langlois, and Unforgettable Fire U2 tribute band!
Plus raffles, tapping the ceremonial keg, a photo booth, plenty of beer, and our special Maifest menu inside!

6. Worthy Brewfest / June 15
The Worthy was started with all of the passion and dedication of the ever-expanding craft beer scene. We’ve traveled multiple states and even a few countries making some lifelong memories along the way. Many of the touches that make this event so special come from those journeys.
At this event, you’ll find some of your favorites go to’s but you’ll also be sure to see some experimental, extreme, firkins, casks, and concept beers! The Worthy features a homebrew twist, with the winning brewer making their beer at Amherst Brewing. Using Amherst’s brewing systems, the homebrew is served as “The Official Festival” beer at this year’s event. 7. Fresh Paint Mural Festival – June 2 – June 8
Downtown Springfield is about to get some fresh paint! Vibrant colors and awe-inspiring designs are coming to Springfield’s bare building walls, public pianos, and sidewalks. From June 2nd – 8th, nationally recognized mural artists will transform downtown building walls into permanent works of art. Local artists will paint public pianos and cover sidewalks in chalk. 8. White Lion Beer Garden / Kick-off May 22
White Lion Brewing Company, currently in the process of building its brewery in Springfield at 1500 Main Street is excited to offer a new experience with the opening of its Summer Beer Garden in the heart of downtown Springfield. The Beer Garden is set to run from Wednesday, May 22nd through Saturday, August 31st in Tower Square Park located at 1477 Main Street. This new installation provides an opportunity to expand upon what Food and Wine Magazine dubbed a top beer garden in the country. Each week the outdoor beer garden will feature an array of beer, cider, and wine offerings, live music, creative food options, and family activities. White Lion’s Summer Beer Garden will operate on the corner of Bridge and Main Street Wednesday through Friday 4:00pm – 9:00pm, and Saturday, 12:00pm to 6:00pm.
9. Food Truck Fridays / Every Friday through September
Your Friday lunch plans just went mobile! Join MGM Springfield every Friday starting at 11 a.m. on Armory Square for some truckin’ good food. Each week will feature MGM’s three food trucks as well as some local favorites to try while enjoying live music, games, and more.
Mixing together Asian street food, bao buns, and a little bit of weird, MGM Springfield brings you Man! Buns, a food truck concept sure to grasp your attention.
