Darik and the Funbags started playing Connecticut in 1997 and have since grown their territory faster than a door-to-door Jehovah’s Witness, spanning gigs up and down the eastern seaboard. They boast national exposure being featured on VH-1’s Cover Wars and is one of the few cover bands to get it’s name on New Havens “Legendary Toads Place” Wall of Fame.

Although they like to think they are too “badass” to be corporate darlings, they’ve won over that circuit too; with appearances at the GHO/Travelers Golf Championship, the Pilot Pen Tennis Tournament, The Major League LaCrosses National Championships, Yale Bowl, Gampel Pavilion, Met Life Stadium, New Jersey, Resort towns such as Killington, VT and Newport RI as well as Bridgeport, Granby, Guilford, Chicopee, S. Windsor, West Hartford, Enfield, New Milford and Southington town-sponsored events as well many University and College performances. You can say that they acclimate well! And just when you thought they would draw the line there, they’ve become one of the most popular and sought out wedding groups in the region! They’ve helped consummate marriages all over New England in typical Funbag fashion, even for couples who’ve met right at a Funbag show! …so you can say they clean up pretty nicely as well!
