The Builder Coalition (TBC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding access and diversity in the real estate sector in order to create generational impact in expanding economic opportunity.

Our Ground Up Seminar is a practical one-day introduction to real estate investment and development. It brings the core sessions from our award-winning, emerging developer accelerator programs into a single accessible day — built for people who are new to real estate investment and development, or just beginning to explore it. The seminar covers capital sources, budgeting, zoning, permitting, project case studies, and building a development team.

Our goal is to give participants the tools, terms, and confidence to take a first step in the field; whether you want to invest, develop, or simply understand how it all works. No prior experience required.

Light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Participants greatly benefit from having a laptop or tablet with them to use or share during the seminar.
