“Born in Worcester, MA, Tim McDonald migrated to the San Francisco music scene in the early 70’s, forming the band Rescue with radio airplay on the renowned rock station KSAN, then going on with the regionally popular Charles Biscuit Band. Next, he moved to Los Angeles for studio and live performances at all the major venues.

He relocated to CT in the 90’s and started performing all over the state with his band or as a solo acoustic act or or as part of some successful band collaborations: Kortchmar/McDonald Band (with Danny Kortchmar, guitarist/songwriter for James Taylor) or the popular McDonald/Teague Band (with local legend, guitarist and singer Burt Teague).
