The first ten R2Rs started from this location\, and all the riders loved it!!! \nWe are dedicating this year’s ride to the heroes of 911. It is the 25th Anniversary of that tragic day in 2001. We will be riding past two 911 Memorials along our route. We will be dedicating this year’s ride to all the fallen heroes and their families. \nThis year’s ride will be an amazing 75-mile loop to Hartford\, CT\, and back to downtown Springfield!! The route will be different from last year. For the first time in the ride’s history\, we will be riding toward the Connecticut River to go by the Springfield 911 Memorial. Then proceed to Main Street at Broad Street\, come north back down Main Street\, and left back onto Boland Way and ride by the thousand+ family and friends as we pedal by with bagpipes playing as we proceed over the Memorial Bridge. \nThere will be a total of three rest stops where all riders will be treated like royalty\, like always. \nDon’t miss out. We are aiming for 600 riders\, and we will close sign-ups when we reach that number. Stay tuned for the announcement date of our annual discount sign-up and kick-off party. \nThe afterparty this year will be the best one yet!!! We will take over the entire food court inside the Tower Square property! There will be a catered dinner\, a concert by the Floyd Patterson Group\, beer provided by the White Lion Brewery\, showers provided by the on-site YMCA\, swag\, full bar\, and it’s open to all your loved ones!!! \nMake it a weekend away. Participants will get a huge discount on first class rooms at the Springfield Downtown Marriott. If you live in Western MA … book two nights and make it a great event. The pre-reg will be on Friday night before the ride at the White Lion Brewery!! \nWe are designing a new R2R15 -2026 Jersey! It’s gonna be great!! It will be a 911 25th Anniversary theme. To order your jersey\, please text Bruce Tretter at 508-446-7790 by July 10th 2025 to get your official 2025 jersey made.

SUMMARY:Celtic Thunder Celebrating Their Greatest Songs
DESCRIPTION:Five-time Billboard Top World Album Artist. Stars of multiple PBS specials seen by millions. And yet nothing — not the recordings\, not the television — prepares you for what Celtic Thunder does in a room. When these voices lock into five-part harmony on a live stage\, backed by a full band with strings\, the sound is something else entirely: enormous\, precise\, and charged with an energy that hits you right in the chest. This is the show where you finally hear it for yourself. \nCeltic Thunder has spent nearly two decades building one of the most devoted followings in live music\, and it’s no mystery why. Their concerts are as much theater as they are music — dramatic staging\, cinematic lighting\, and a setlist that swings from soaring Irish ballads to rock anthems to tender acoustic moments without ever losing its grip on the room. Each of the ensemble’s vocalists brings something distinct: voices that stand alone beautifully on solo turns and blend into something transcendent when they come together. From the haunting hush of “Amazing Grace” to the full-room singalong of “Heartland\,” every song is crafted to pull you in deeper. \nAt HOPE Center for the Arts\, Celtic Thunder’s theatrical ambition meets a venue built to match it. The immersive spatial audio and intimate sightlines of the Main Theater mean you won’t just watch this show — you’ll feel surrounded by it. Whether you’ve followed Celtic Thunder since their first PBS special or you’re walking in curious\, this is the kind of evening that reminds you what live performance is supposed to feel like. SUMMARY:Bach and Ballet
DESCRIPTION:‘Bach and Ballet’ explores the synergy between dance and music by interpreting the works for solo cello and violin by J.S. Bach and works by other great composers through the medium of contemporary ballet\, and vice-versa. \nAn interdisciplinary collaboration between spouses – violist Geoffrey and dancer-choreographer Mikayla Archambeau – ‘Bach and Ballet’ includes performances of Bach’s suites\, Manuel de Falla’s Canciones Populares\, and Chahagir (Torchbearer) by Alain Hovhaness. \nLive music and dance highlight the deeply emotional qualities of fine performing arts\, including baroque dance forms as interpreted by Bach\, Geoffrey’s virtuosic playing of the viola\, and Mikayla’s own fresh take on the music of an old master alongside her dramatic dance founded in classical ballet\, an ancient art form of its own. \nThe result is an affirmation of human potential in an ‘age of anxiety\,’ music and dance experienced in their organic essence without technology or amplification. \nJoined by Corbin Beisner\, an extraordinary concert pianist who has performed solo recitals at the Conservatoire Liceu in Barcelona\, the Liszt Saal at the Accademia d’Ungheria in Rome\, and programs at the famous “Les Troi Rois” hotel and repeated invitations at the Schmiedenhof Zunftsaal in Basel.

SUMMARY:Ray LaMontagne - Trouble 20th Anniversary Tour
DESCRIPTION:Join Ray LaMontagne on the Trouble 20th Anniversary Tour. \nRay’s vast catalog spans nine full length records\, chart topping radio singles\, and a Grammy win\, in addition to multiple Grammy nominations. This year will prove to be an exciting one for LaMontagne as he heads out on the road celebrating his first full length album\, Trouble\, playing the album in its entirety as well as songs from across his catalog. \nOf this landmark anniversary\, LaMontagne has written the following personal note to his fans: \nAs many of you know\, last September was the 20th anniversary of the release of Trouble. Twenty years. Two Decades. That’s a lot of water under the bridge. Every cell in my body has changed three times over in that time. I have been three times reborn. \nThere are moments in your life when you need to place a marker. Some people think that it is brave\, or fearless\, to never look back. I don’t believe that. For the simple reason that if you never look back you will never see how far you have come. This year I place a sign post: twenty years of Trouble. \nWhen Trouble was initially released Vinyl was considered a dead format\, never to breathe again \nDigital audio was the new King. As we know this has proved untrue. Each year more and more music lovers are listening to Vinyl and appreciating it for its depth and breadth of sound\, for its physical heft\, for its tangible realness. Over the past few months Brian Lee and Bob Jackson at Waygate Mastering have remastered the album for the first time specifically for Vinyl. And I have to say\, it sounds incredible. They have managed to bring out subtleties in the vocals\, the instrumentation\, that were somehow lost previously. It sounds as if a sonic veil has been lifted. I cannot thank them enough. \nTo further honor this moment I will be hitting the road later this summer for the Trouble 20th Anniversary Tour\, playing the album top to tail for the first time since it was released. I hope you will come out and join me and my friends and help us celebrate this moment in time. It wouldn’t be the same without you.

SUMMARY:JT Horne
DESCRIPTION:JT Horne began his musical journey at a young age\, singing in his church’s choir and participating in band and chorus throughout grade school in his small hometown of Worcester\, New York. At age 10\, Horne picked up the guitar and piano and quickly fell in love. When the singer was given Neil Young’s “Decade” some years later from a lifelong friend\, he knew at that moment he not only wanted to play music\, but he also wanted to write and compose it. Since that early age\, music has been his main focus and his life’s mission. Horne went on to study music and English in college\, receiving his B.A. from Oswego State in 2018. The musician currently performs solo and with his band\, The Leaps\, throughout the country. \nThe songwriter’s unorthodox voice catches the audience’s ear and leaves them craving for more\, while his songwriting provokes feelings wrapped in nostalgia. Catch the singer performing original tunes and favorite cover songs from the country\, folk\, rock\, blues\, and Americana genres.
