Chris Russell, Executive Director
Chris, prior to being part of the Springfield Business Improvement District, founded a successful multi-state business. His desire is to take what he learned running a small business and apply many of those elements to revitalizing Downtown. Chris is a local graduate of both Cathedral High School and American International College. He and his family live in Western Massachusetts.
Michelle Grout, Executive Assistant
Michelle was born and raised in Springfield and is a local graduate of Cathedral High School and Springfield Technical Community College. Prior to starting at the BID, Michelle worked as a Real Estate Agent for 15 years here in Western Massachusetts.
Bridget Delaney, Marketing and Project Manager
Bridget has been with the Springfield BID since graduating from Westfield State University in 2015. She too was born and raised in Springfield and is a local graduate of Springfield Central High School. She brings her creative skills to every project and has a true passion for promoting her hometown.
Annette Scheidecker, Project Manager
A native of Virginia, with a Bachelor Degree from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA, Annette has lived and worked in the Pioneer Valley for more than 20-years, as a Director of Marketing. Before moving to New England with her family, she was the District Director for a national non-profit agency. Prior to that, Annette enjoyed an award winning ten-year career in broadcast news, working in TX, PA, NC, MD and WV. She is presently using her multi-faceted experience at the Springfield Business Improvement District to manage various projects including the new regional Visitor Center, as well as the Downtown Farmers Market and the Lease It Local campaign.
