The Springfield Puerto Rican Parade will kick off at 11:00 a.m. This year’s parade will part from between Main and Wason Ave and will march through downtown ending where Boland Way and Main Street. The parade highlights Latino music and traditions and is a way for residents in Western Massachusetts to learn about the culture and celebrate it as well.

Symphony Hall, Springfield Symphony Opening Night!!
Saturday, Oct. 22 conducted by JoAnn Falletta, featuring Zoltan Kodaly’s Dances of Galanta, Edward Elgar’s Cello Concerto with guest cellist Joshua Roman, and Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. The season will feature six classical performances and two pops concerts under the leadership of a diverse group of guest conductors.
