On May 4, 2024, the Amherst Railway Society and Springfield Union Station are hosting A Celebration of Railroad Art & Photography on the station’s historic concourse.
The visual arts are well suited to portraying the enormous impact of the railroad on history, society, and culture, so we are setting aside a day to honor the talented people that paint and photograph railroads in America (and other places too).
An exhibition and sale of rail-themed art will be on the main concourse of Springfield Union Station from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
